Allego introduces summer pass with up to 30% savings on DC charging

The charging infrastructure operator Allego has introduced the ‘Summer Pass 2025’. Until 30 September, users can pay a monthly basic fee and receive a 30% discount on the local ad-hoc price at more than 5,000 of its own fast-charging points across Europe and selected charging points in the partner network.

The offer is not available to all European electric car drivers. Only residents of Germany, Austria, Belgium, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, Denmark, Sweden or the UK can benefit from the discount.

In order to receive the discount, a subscription (only possible until 1 September) must also be taken out on the specially created platform. In all eurozone countries, Allego charges a basic monthly fee of 11.99 euros. For Polish users, this is 49 złoty. In Denmark, on the other hand, it is 89 Danish kroner, in Sweden 129 Swedish kroner and in the UK 9.99 pounds. The ‘Summer Pass 2025’ cannot be booked via Allego’s own app, Smoov’. If Plug & Charge is activated, this will also result in the charging process starting immediately, but the discount will not be applied.

Anyone who decides to take out a subscription via the web portal can now receive a 30% discount on the local ad-hoc price at one of the 5,000 Allego fast-charging points in Europe until 30 September 2025. However, this only applies at DC charging points. The regular prices still apply at AC charging points. For Germany and Austria, this is 0.60 euros/kWh. With the discount, the discounted charging prices for the ad hoc tariffs are as follows:

DC (50 kW)DC (50 kW, rebate)DC (> 50 kW)DC (> 50 kW, rebate)
Germany0,63 Euro/kWh0,44 Euro/kWh0,729 Euro/kWhca. 0,51 Euro/kWh
Austria0,63 Euro/kWh0,44 Euro/kWh0,73 Euro/kWh0,51 Euro/kWh

Note: After a charging time of 45 minutes, a blocking fee of 0.246 euros/minute in Germany and 0.248 euros/minute in Austria is added on top.

In addition to its own fast-charging stations, Allego also grants the discount at charging points operated by selected partners. “The discount applies to Allego-owned DC and HPC chargers, as well as selected partner networks under commercial agreement (including EV Cars and Faolan, where
applicable),” it says. The Dutch charging infrastructure operator also lists Carrefour locations in France. Allego provides an interactive map on its web portal to show all locations eligible for the discount.
